Idaho Out-of-School Network

The Idaho Afterschool Network (IAN) mission is to ensure Idaho’s youth have access to high quality out-of-school (OST) programs. The IAN officially kicked off in October of 2014 after a year of laser-focused planning.

Current Projects and Initiatives:
  • The IAN are bringing public and private sectors together to accomplish these goals, as well as to affect policy for and investment in the quality and expansion of Idaho’s OOS learning.
  • The IAN currently has collected written support from over 35 community or state organizations, and to date has financial partnerships with the C.S. Mott Foundation, Blue Cross Foundation for Health, State Department of Education, Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, City of Boise, Idaho Commission for Libraries and the University of Idaho Extension 4-H Youth Development.

Over the next three years, the IAN will be working on the following goal areas:

  • Expand, inform and engage IAN’s partnerships
  • Design and carry out targeted messaging
  • Survey and map
