The Afterschool Technical Assistance Collaborative (ATAC) is a group of national organizations working collaboratively to technically assist statewide afterschool networks.
Members of ATAC represent a diverse array of constituency groups designed to reflect the range of stakeholders and expertise that is needed at the state level to affect change.
Goals of ATAC
- Facilitate statewide, regional and local partnerships at all levels.
- Support statewide efforts to secure resources needed to sustain new and existing afterschool and expanded learning programs.
- Support state systems to ensure programs are of high-quality.
How ATAC Supports the Statewide Afterschool Networks
ATAC helps strengthen the capacity of statewide afterschool networks to build and sustain statewide infrastructures. It is the hope of the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation and ATAC that there will eventually be statewide afterschool networks in all 50 states.
