Hosted Lights on Afterschool event at the Ohio Statehouse, and co-sponsored Statewide Advocacy Day which resulted in more than 300 people speaking with State Senators and Representatives in support of Ohio’s youth.

Recommended changes to Ohio’s child care licensing rules to reflect needs of school age children. Many of these recommendations will be adopted.

Contracted with Ohio Department of Education to provide a much needed opportunity for professional development and networking, also provides a source of revenue for OAN.
