Participants will explore the impact of Hurricane Katrina on the afterschool landscape and how networks and ATAC may help the Louisiana Afterschool Partnership.

These small group discussions will focus on case studies that include typical obstacles for coalitions to work through during budget battles. Participants will engage in problem-solving activities.

Network teams should split up between different rooms.
5:00 - 5:30 pmClosing Plenary: Next Steps as Network Coordinators

The meeting concludes with a review of lessons learned and a brief discussion on the challenging day-to-day work of network coordinators.
